December 3-5, “Dongfanghong Cup” second national intelligent agricultural equipment innovation contest final held in Jiangsu University. Our hospital was led by Ma Xu and Qiu Han. After fierce competition, we achieved good results in this contest. We got 2 grand prizes, 3 first prizes, 6 second prizes and 15 excellence prizes. Seven teachers, including Wang Ruman, Jia Ruichang, Zhang Tiemin and Lü Enli, were honored as National Excellent Instructors. They also won the “Outstanding Cup” University Organizational Award with excellent overall results.
As one of the key areas for Chinese manufacturing to create and develop in China, agricultural machinery and equipment are an important means to improve the efficiency of modern agricultural production. The contest was entrusted by the Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education to the steering committee of agricultural engineering teaching of the Ministry of Education, sponsored by China Agricultural Machinery Society, China Society of Agricultural Engineering and Jiangsu Provincial Center for Modern Agricultural Equipment and Technology Collaborative Innovation, and undertaken by Jiangsu University. It is reported that this competition attracted more than 1,800 college students from 39 colleges and universities including China Agricultural University, Huazhong Agricultural University, Jilin University and Northeastern University.
