In 2001      ‘Engineering Technology Faculty’ renamed ‘Engineering Faculty’.

In 1993      ‘Agricultural Engineering Faculty’ renamed ‘Engineering Technology Faculty’.

In 1984      ‘Agricultural Mechanization Faculty’ renamed ‘Agricultural Engineering Faculty’.

In 1961      ‘Agricultural Mechanization Teaching and Research Office’ renamed

                   ‘Agricultural Mechanization Faculty’.

In 1958      Established ‘Agricultural Mechanization Teaching and Research Office’.

The Development History of Major

In 1958      Established the undergraduate major ‘Agricultural Mechanization’ (program duration is 5 years).

In 1960      Set up the undergraduate major ‘Agricultural Repair Faculty’ (program duration is 5 years).

In 1961      Major ‘Agricultural Repair’ was incorporated into major ‘Agricultural Mechanization’ .

In 1970      ‘Agricultural Mechanization’ renamed ‘Agricultural Implement Design and Manufacturing’ (program duration is 4 years). And established the undergraduate major ‘Tractor Repair and Manufacturing’ (program duration is 3 years).

In 1973      Set up the undergraduate major ‘Tractor Repair and Manufacturing’ which was incorporated with ‘Agricultural Implement Design and Manufacturing’ latter.

In1974      ‘Agricultural Mechanization’ recovered recruiting students and reserved major ‘Agricultural Implement Design and Manufacturing’.

In 1978      The program duration of major ‘Agricultural Implement Design and Manufacturing’ was changed to 5 years.

In 1981      The program duration of major ‘Agricultural Implement Design and Manufacturing’ was changed to 4 years.

In1982      Our university awarded agricultural bachelor’s degree to 18 majors which including majors of ‘Agricultural Mechanization’ and ‘Agricultural Implement Design and Manufacturing’ of our college. 

In 1983      The degree awarded to ‘Agricultural Mechanization’ were changed from  ‘bachelor’s degree of engineering’ to agricultural bachelor’s degree.

In 1984      ‘Agricultural Implement Design and Manufacturing’ renamed ‘Agricultural Mechanization Design and Manufacturing’.

In 1985      Established the junior college major ‘Agricultural Architecture and Environment’ (program duration is 3 years).

In 1989      Set up the undergraduate major ‘Industrial and Civil Construction Engineering’ (program duration is 4 years).

In 1990      Established the junior college major ‘Auto Testing and Maintenance’  (program duration is 3 years).

In 1994      Established the undergraduate major ‘Automobile Application Engineering’ (program duration is 4 years), the junior college major ‘Management of Industrial Enterprise’ (program duration is 3 years) and the junior college major ‘Management Information System’ (program duration is 3 years).

               ‘Auto Testing and Maintenance’ stopped recruiting students and renamed ‘Industrial and Civil Construction Engineering’ to ‘Architectural Engineering’ with 4 years for undergraduate program duration and 3 years for junior college program duration.

In 1998      ‘Architectural Engineering’ renamed ‘Civil Engineering’.

In 1999      ‘Management Information System’ was changed from junior college major to undergraduate major and was renamed as ‘Information Management and Information System’, program duration is 4 years.

               Junior college major ‘Automobile Application Engineering’ renamed ‘Traffic Application’.

               Established ‘Agricultural Mechanization and Automation’ (Electronic Information Engineering) which is undergraduate major with 4 years program duration .

               Other junior college majors in our college stopped recruiting students.

In 2000      ‘Agricultural Mechanization and Automation’ (Electronic Information Engineering) Renamed ‘Electronic Information Engineering’.

In 2001      Established the undergraduate major ‘Agricultural Electrification and Automation’ (program duration is 4 years).

In 2002      Set up the undergraduate major ‘Industrial Design’ (program duration is 4 years).

In 2003      Set up the undergraduate major ‘Electrical Engineering and Automation’ (program duration is 4 years).

In 2004      Set up the undergraduate major ‘Vehicle Engineering’ (program duration is 4 years). And Set up the undergraduate major ‘Electronic Science and Technology’ (program duration is 4 years).

In 2005      Set up the undergraduate major ‘Automation’ (program duration is 4 years).

In 2006      Set up the undergraduate major ‘Communication Engineering’ (program duration is 4 years).

In 2012      Set up the undergraduate major ‘Energy and Environmental Systems Engineering’ (program duration is 4 years).

In 2015      Incorporate “Energy and Environmental Systems Engineering” into a newly established college – Faculty of Materials and Energy.And incorporate “Electronic Information” into a newly established college – Faculty of Electronic Engineering.
