Engineering College‘s Students Achieve Prominent Results in the ROBOCON 16th National Robot Competition

Recently, the sixteenth National Robot Contest ROBOCON South Division race held in Yuyao, Zhejiang. Our team dispatched “Come on Hot Springs team” team, after eight fierce points race, won the third prize.

The competition attracted 148 colleges and universities nationwide, passed the mid-term examinations and online assessment, and finally the South China Agricultural University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, South China University of Technology, Wuhan University, China University of Science and Technology, Xiamen University, Chongqing University, Southwest Jiaotong University, Guangdong 39 colleges and universities, such as Industrial University, Anhui University of Technology, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China and Guangxi University, passed the assessment and conducted on-site competition in Yuyao.

The National Robot Contest for Robotics ROBOCON is co-sponsored by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League and the National Federation of Education, co-sponsored by the Ministry of Education’s Computer Science and Technology Teaching Guidance Committee of Higher Education Institutions, the Teaching Steering Committee of the Mechanical Engineering Department of the Ministry of Education and the National Youth League Research Center.

ROBOCON is a college robotics creativity and production competition launched by the Asian Broadcasting Union (ABU) in 2002. National Robot Contest ROBOCON is a national audition by ABU ROBOCON. Participants need comprehensive use of mechanical, electronic, control and other technical knowledge and means, after 10 months of preparation and preparation, the use of robots to complete the task of setting rules.

Since 2002, the National Robot Contest for Undergraduates has been held for 15 sessions. Over one hundred Chinese graduates have taken part in the competition. About 20,000 graduates have participated in this high-level robot race.
